This is the rose garden of a guesthouse in Provincetown's West End. This
was an overcast day, which can be a lot of fun to paint because the
colors are more intense in this kind of light, especially shown against
the violet-ish white of the building. My underpainting here was reds and
golds underneath the greens of the leaves, which I left very visible in
many spots in the painting.
