Giclee is an exciting new printmaking process in which the artist works collaboratively with a printmaker using computer technology to create a print with rich, saturated color, a velvety surface, and great sensitivity to detail. These limited edition giclees are printed on canvas and finished with a waterproof coating so that glass is not necessary. They are framed like paintings, with antique gold 2 1/2"-3" wide mouldings. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist, Simie Maryles, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Giclee prints are tested for lightfastness under the most extreme lighting conditions and are extremely durable. They show no sign of color shifting for 30-50 years or more, which is a very long archival life in the world of prints.
